Contest winner

Congrats to Shellie, who won the print copy of Settling the Score! I do have another contest posted on my website for anyone who’s interested.

I woke up early this morning…4 am…freezing. I went downstairs and checked the thermostat–and found out the heat was out. Not a good thing when it’s about 10 degrees outside. Luckly, I have a pellet stove, so it was still 60 in the house, but there’s no heat upstairs, so it was a lot colder up there. The heat is now back on and the house is slowly warming up. I have a feeling I’ll be napping later this afternoon after I pick up the mini-diva from her dance class.

This is going to be a working weekend for me. I didn’t get as much done yesterday as I wanted to. (Okay, little understatement there  ) It sets me back a day, but due to something that happened earlier in the week, I suddenly have 4 days later in the month with nothing scheduled, so I’m not worried about it.

As for reading…I started Bitten by Kelley Armstrong. I’m only 60 pages into it, and I love it already. Can’t put it down. I know a lot of readers don’t care for stories written in the first person, but I like them.

What are you reading right now? Are you enjoying it?
